Welcome to our cozy homestay in the heart of Mombasa city center, where Virginia (host), Josephine(mum), and Sally(sister) open their doors and hearts to travelers seeking a taste of Kenyan warmth. Nestled in our 3-bedroom apartment, complete with a shared bathroom, we offer more than just a place to rest – we invite you to become part of our family and experience the vibrant blend of city life and coastal culture.
At home, we speak a mix of English, Swahili, and Kikuyu, ensuring everyone feels welcome and included. Sister Sally, a marine engineering student, brings her love for the sea and adventure, while Mum Josephine, a talented caterer, tantalizes taste buds with her culinary creations. As for Virginia, she's your friendly host, ready to ensure your stay is nothing short of extraordinary.

our house is located at the center of the city with a walking distance to hospitals, banks , supermarkets, matatu stages, hotels , restaurants, and bars and clubs.
we are approximately 20mins to 30mins drive to the airport and SGR terminus depending on traffic.

1:Respect Quiet Hours: Please respect quiet hours between 11pm to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone's relaxation and rest.
2:Shared Bathroom Etiquette: As we have a shared bathroom, please be mindful of other guests' schedules and keep the bathroom clean and tidy after use.
3:Guest Check-In/Check-Out Times: Check-in is from 12pm, and check-out is by 10am. Please inform us in advance if you require flexibility with these times.
4:Kitchen Use: Guests are welcome to use the kitchen facilities, but please clean up after yourselves and label your food items accordingly.
5:Respect for Property and Others: Please treat our home with care and respect. Any damages caused by guests will be their responsibility to cover.
6:No Unauthorized Guests: For security reasons, only registered guests are allowed in the apartment. If you plan to have visitors, please inform us in advance.
7:No Parties: To maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all guests, parties and loud gatherings are not permitted in the apartment.
8:Safety and Security: Ensure that all doors are locked when leaving the apartment, and valuables are kept secure. Please refrain from giving out the apartment keys to anyone outside your party.
9:Environmental Responsibility: Help us conserve energy and water by turning off lights, fans, and taps when not in use.
10:Communication: If you have any questions, concerns, or special requests, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

I'd request a deposit amount to be able to work on making your arrivals and stay as easy and effortless as possible. payment method could be discussed too.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed indoors and outdoors.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
