We are a retired couple. Hans was a professor for a long time and Kordula a language teacher. Our four children have long since flown out and only visit us from time to time. Since 25 years foreign students live with us.

About the Area
Our house is located in the south of Berlin, about 10 minutes walk from the S-Bahn S2, which runs in 10/20 minute intervals in about 20 minutes directly to the center of Berlin. At the S-Bahn station begins a shopping street with many shops and supermarkets. It is a very quiet residential area with sympathetic neighbors.

House Rules
We respect each other, but are also attentive to each other. If you use the kitchen, please clean it up and clean it. Talk to the bathroom with other roommates. Be quiet at night. Overnight visit by arrangement.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei der Gastfamilie. Es war alles perfekt und sie waren zu uns sehr nett. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Wir können die Gastfamilie daher sehr empfehlen.

They are perfect landlords. The month I stayed with them is really a nice time. I do hope that I can stay longer with them.

Eine sehr nette Unterkunft mit einem äußerst nettem Ehepaar mit dem wir lange interesante und intensive Gespräche führen konnten. Schade, dass es so schnell vorbei war - aber wir werden wieder kommen.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
