Tay Homestay is located in Thon Tha, Phuong Do, Ha Giang, Vietnam, just 6km from the Ha Giang center and is an ideal way to reach Thanh Thuy international border gate to visit China. Surrounding our village, it's perfect route to go trekking, hiking and biking because of its beauty.
We do not want to change our houses to some luxury hotels or guesthouse, but just traditional homestays. We encourage to keep our traditional identities in our daily life to bring you’ our new friends’ a comfortable staying and share meals with homestay’s family in an extremely local atmostphere. Homestay families will help visitors adjust their new life. Visitors can experience exciting new holidays and family events that they’ve never seen before. Sometimes, Tay families will invite their guests to participate in recreational activities and sports events. The student is often treated as a member of the family, eating meals with them and being part of family conversations. We are warmly welcome you.
The locals do not have the luxury of an electric blanket or radiator to warm their house. The village electricity cannot support these high electricity demand items.
Please understand that you are in rural Vietnam and life is a little more rustic and filled with lots of local color and noises. All homestays are simply equipped with locally made furnishings and handicrafts. The families operating homestays in many instances still rely on an agricultural subsistence living, that is charming in its traditions and simple honesty. Whilst most homestays now afford a western-style bathroom with shower and flushing toilet, other things remain basic but comfortable, with guests normally sleeping together on matresses on the floor and sharing a traditional meal and glass of rice wine off cushions.
